Opening match on Rajamangala:
Group A has host-team Thailand, Australia, Oman and Iraq. There are 5/6 qualifying matches including the opener and the first quarter-final will be in national stadium Rajamangala in Bangkok. It’s the Thailand’s largest that can seat 65,000 spectators and built in 1998 for ASIAD 13, Tiger Cup 2000 and the World Women’s soccer in 2004. The stadium is provided with most modern lighting systems and electronics boards.
The qualifying match between Oman and Iraq will play in National stadium Supachalasai, also in Bangkok, built in 1934 and it can seat 35,000 spectators. It’s the principal ground for ASIAD 1966, 1970 and 1978.

2nd quarter-final in Vietnam
Group B includes Vietnam, Japan, UAE and Quatar. 5/6 qualifying matches and the 3rd quarter-final, 2nd semi-final will be in national stadium Mỹ Đình, the largest ground of Vietnam with 40,000 seats. Built in 2003 to hold 23rd SEA Games, Tiger Cup 2004 was here too. It’s roofed stadium with two smaller ones for training. Total cost to build it was 53 millions USD.
The remainder-match between Quatar and UAE will be in Military zone 7 ground in Hồ Chí Minh city.

Two master-pieces of Malaysians
Group C includes Malaysia, Iran, China and Uzbekistan. 5/6 qualifiers, the 2nd quarter-final, 1st semi-final will play in the national stadium Bukit Jalil in the capital Kuala Lumpur. It’s not only the largest in Asia but the world as well (100,200 seats). The ground was completed in 1998 to hold the Common Wealth Games 16. Tiger Cup 2004 was here too. Bukit Jalil was the most expensive in South East Asia (554 millions ringit). It’s most beautifully designed as an art master-pieces.
The remainder-qualifier between China and Uzbekistan will be in Shah Alam stadium in Selangor, 25km from Kuala Lampur in the west. The ground was built in 1991 and completed in 1994. It’s the property of Malaysians leading club Selangor with 69,000 seats, roofed and up-to-date supportive services.

Fire Pot Senayan and the final match in Indonesia
Group D has Indonesia, South Korea, Saudi Araba and Bahrain. 5/6 qualifiers, the 4th quarter-final and the final will be organized in Gelora Bung Karno stadium in the capital Jakarta.
The play-ground Gelora Bung Karno (formerly named Senayan) is known to be a fire-pot whenever the host team plays. It’s built in 1960 and completed in 1962 for 1962 ASIAD. Many SEA Games took place here and the Tiger Cup finals 2002, 2004 also played here.
This and the Bukit Jalil of Malaysia rank the world top-ten that can seat over 100,000 spectators. The ground was well-upgraded to welcome the final of Asian Cup 2007.
The remainder-qualifier and match for 3rd winner will be in Gelora Sriwijaya in island Sumatra. It’s the lastest built stadium for Asian Cup 2007 (completed in 2004 with 40,000 seats and best design with modern services).
