Travel to Yen Duc village in Quang Ninh province

Tourists experiencing community tour in Yen Duc village will be warmly welcomed with water puppet shows, the Vietnamese historical stories which are performed by local citizens. The stage is designed outdoor because of its large well-aired space. It is decorated by lots of lights and fishing-baskets. Visitors can take part in various interesting activities such as learning how to cook rice, how to do farming work and do handicraft work. Besides, becoming a farmer and harvesting various vegetables as cabbage, wormwood, etc… will be unforgettable memories.  Furthermore, guests have chances to visit local people’s houses to broaden knowledge in house’s traditional architecture, worship custom, cultural activities (festivals, the folk songs: cheo, quan ho,…) and find out how to make paper fan as well.

In order to provide Vietnam’s countryside experience for tourists, Yen Duc village built two Vietnamese traditional houses which are typical traditional home in the Northern Delta. It contains 2 main rows of houses with large yard, vegetable garden, fishing pond, lake. These Vietnamese houses lying on the field, near other private houses, create a fascinating region. Each of them has 3 compartments made of 28 chucks of iron wood which are meticulously carved; Buddhist and ancestor altar is put in the middle of the house. Living rooms and bed rooms have enough furniture for travelers.
