Since its official launch on January 1, 2017, Tuan Chau International Cruise Harbor has cemented its world class brand by relentlessly upgrading and intensifying its service quality. Tuan Chau harbor is operated in the model of “one stop, many amenities”, including a cruise station, restaurants, supermarkets, souvenir stores and accompanying entertainment chain… in order to fully meet customer demands and respond to the shift to service driven economic model advocated by the Quang Ninh authorities.

The cruise station was put in operation to replace the old one in late 2016. The cruise station is modernly designed and boasts three times the size of the old one with the total usable area of over 3,000sqm. It is installed with 1,000 seats to accommodate 5,000 cruisers who wait for check-in procedures to visit Ha Long bay at the same time. To support cruisers as well as officers on duty, the harbor is planned in functional areas: Check-in area for officers on duty, kids’ game zone, medical clinic, folk performing theater, post office and travel information kiosk, etc.

Along with these, a Customer Service Center was also added to fully upgrade all information of the schedules of cruises on offer in Ha Long bay. Amenities installed include free water taps, complementary wifi, cool tissues, standard water closets and pathway roof around the harbor that stretches 1,500m. The harbor is also equipped with 50 security cameras all over the complex and all operational activities are already digitalized to deploy software in order to ensure professional quality and a more advanced tourist model in cruiser monitoring, cruise operations and service… As a result, thief, price gouging, hawking peddling are prevented, and staff members must be friendly and helpful to cruisers.
