Following the success of the previous nine contests (under the name of the National Tourism Art Photo Contest), the 2022 Tourism Promotion Photo Contest "Tỏa Sáng Vietnam - Amazing Vietnam" is one of the major activities commemorating the Vietnam Tourism Industry's 63rd anniversary (July 9th, 1960 - July 9th, 2023). This is an important event that contributes to promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people to domestic and international visitors, promoting tourism recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, and making tourism a key economic sector under Resolution No. 08-NQ/TW. The competition also encourages artists and the public to participate in the creation and publication of photographic works on tourism activities, thereby contributing to raising public awareness of the role of tourism, attracting international visitors to Vietnam, and promoting domestic tourism activities. This is also an occasion for groups and organizations to exchange, connect, and promote their images and brands through sponsorship and cooperation with the competition organizers.
The 2022 Tourism Promotion Photo Contest promises to bring together many special works with rich and diverse themes such as heritage, destinations, landmarks, historical relics; moments of life, the cultural beauty of Vietnamese people, images of tourists discovering and experiencing tourism products and services; festivals, folklore forms, traditional villages; unique "check-in" spots at resorts, hotels, and homestays, or delicious food.
Entrants are all Vietnamese people, both at home and abroad, and foreigners who are working or living in Vietnam; there is no age limit. Participants submit their entry photos online at www.anhnghethuatdulich.com, with specific information, rules, and instructions on the website. Time to receive photos from the launch date until before 23:59 on June 5th, 2023. Details of the competition rules and other information are also constantly updated on the page of the tourism e-magazine, http://tapchidulich.net.vn.
The organizing committee will award the following prizes: a first-place prize consisting of a gold medal for the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists with a bonus of VND 16,000,000; a second-place prize consisting of a silver medal for the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists with a bonus of VND 10,000,000 per prize; a third-place prize consisting of a bronze medal for the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists with a bonus of VND 5,000,000 per prize; five incentive prizes of VND 1,000,000 per prize; and Sub-prize for 01 photo with the most Likes/drops of hearts (1,000,000 VND) and 01 photo with the most Shares (1,000,000 VND) on the fanpage of Vietnam Tourism Review (https://www.facebook. com/VietnamTourismReview). The authors who win the first, second and third prizes will be given additional vouchers for resorts at high-class resorts in Vietnam such as Silk Sense River Hoi An Resort (Quang Nam), Tam Chuc National Tourist Area (Ha Nam)...
Award-winning and selected works exhibited in the exhibition will be issued by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists with a Proof of Certification and regional scoring according to the Regulations of the Association. Award-winning works are awarded certificates by the Vietnam Tourism Development Fund. The organizers will give the program's anniversary thanks to the enterprises for supporting and accompanying the program.
The award ceremony and photo exhibition are scheduled to be held in July 2023 in Hanoi on the occasion of the anniversary of Vietnam Tourism.
