*Vina Capital Hội An tourism Ltd Company has turned out a master-plan of the 5-star tourism resort Hội An Royal bay with initial investment capital of 16 millions USD on a 7ha area in coastal commune Điện Dương, Điện Bàn district, Quảng Nam province.
There’ll be a hotel, 100 high-end villas, swimming-pool, restaurants, recreation-clubs, sports center, spa… The resort will be managed by Accor, a leading group in best hotel management. Hội An Royal bay is planned to be in operation in 2009.
*An art-festival of Indochina’s countries will be held in Quảng Trị town from 20-24 of July as announced by Ministry of Culture and Information. Participants are art troupes from Vietnam, Lao and Cambodia. The festival takes place simultaneously with opening of Trans-Asian Bridge festival.
*Hotel Saigon Sheraton has made public a plan to turn all existing apartments into hotel-tower of world standards. The new hotel will have 100 bedrooms classified as luxury suites overlooking city center and Saigon river. The Tower hotel will be designed by Hassel Company (Australia) and become operational in quarter 1 – 2008. Saigon Sheraton hotel will totally own 480 rooms.
*Vietnam Economic Time has announced The Guide Awards 2006 - 2007 for 100 best tourism business in Vietnam. Hồ Chí Minh city ranks first in hotel (8 out of 20 hotels awarded). Victoria hotels and resort takes the lead in top ten highly valued in landscape and environment-friendly.
