The journey starts from the Viet Nam – Japanese Palace of Culture and Labor and involves these following destinations: Cultural Center of the Poem Mountain, temple of Holy General Tran Quoc Nghien, brief stroll along the coastal road crossing the Poem Bridge, visit to Vincom Plaza Department Store, Ha Long Flower Park, visits to Quang Ninh museum and the Quang Ninh Palace of Planning, Exhibition and Culture.
According to Ms. Nguyen Hoai Thuong, coordinator of the free walking tour of Vietravel, this tour is meant to enable her visitors to live slower and get a genuine touch and feel the depths of the local ordinary life as a true native on every single path they go. Each path has its own story, on which professional tour guides of Vietravel will act as a true ambassador to navigate their guests through historical and cultural stories of the country and people of Viet Nam in general and Quang Ninh in particular, thanks to its choicest pathways.
With this free walking tour of Ha Long, hopefully Vietnamese culture is connected to both domestic and international visitors and give them a deeper insight into the local culture and history, and also give the province a big opportunity to promote the province and people of Quang Ninh in general and Ha Long in particular. This free walking network will also enrich and diversify tourist products as a whole in Ha Long.
