Various municipalities across the country still keep on the tourist influx while hospitality and services are in good shape following directions from Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc for the management of natural and historical sites to keep operations stable and guarantee epidemic preventation such as disinfectant spraying and free-of-charge face mask distributions to visitors... Airplanes of Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air are all disinfected and subject to a flurry of measures against the epidemic. Visitors are on close guard from their entry to Viet Nam so that any suspected cases must be quarantined and supervised under applicable regulations.
These days, a number of famous place of interests nationwide such as the Temple of Literature - Imperial University, Ngoc Son temple, Hoa Lo prison, monuments of Thang Long imperial citadel, vestige of Co Loa fortress (Ha Noi), monuments of Hue imperial citadel (Thua Thien Hue), Con Dao islands (Ba Ria - Vung Tau), Po Nagar Cham tower, Chong islets (Khanh Hoa), Da Dia rapid or Nhan tower (Phu Yen)... are all open to the public. Recreational areas and amenities in major cities are still kept in operation. The disinfection, environmental protection and measures to raise awareness among both the people and visitors... are in synergy and on a continual basis to ensure safety at places of interests.
Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Quang Tung claimed that the tourist industry refrains from discrimination, maintains civilized and appropriate treatment with visitors and ensures good impression of the industry. According to the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Tourist Assocition Vu The Binh, travel businesses are required to put visitors’ interests above all. The industry is well equipped to deal with epidemics, and are thus able to appropriately evaluate the severity of the virus without triggering overreactions and still maintain decent service quality. A number of travel businesses and conglomerates such as Vietravel, Hanoitourist, Vingroup, Sungroup, etc. are committed to sympathy and sharing burden in service quality, not just for the sake of their reputation but also the overall positive image of a hospitable and genuine Viet Nam.
