Unlike most of the other coastal roads, the road from Binh Tien of Khanh Hoa to Ninh Chu of Ninh Thuan is both wild and poetic.
From Nha Trang city, visitors will go through Cam Ranh about 15km on National Highway No. 1A and then begin the journey of sunlight and wind. Embracing round the Nui Chua National Park, this road is full of green mountains and high sea cliffs.
Going through Nui Chua National Park, visitors can see the converge of the beach, the desert and forest; Hang Rai (Rai cave) - where the rock formations stacked on top of each other creating countless beautiful and charming caves; Lo O river, Mui Ca Ong, Hang Yen (Yen cave)... The ideal stop is Vinh Hy bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the country - a great place to visit the bustling fishing village and enjoy fresh local seafood. A whole world of coral reefs is waiting for you through glass-bottomed boats.
If you love the camping and outdoor activities, there is nothing better than visiting Binh Tien beach, Fresh Water Beach, Cha La, Rang beach, Huge Rocks beach... or any small beaches along the way. All the beaches are like heaven with blue sea, white sand without any footprints. A delicious seafood BBQ dinner is something that you cannot miss!
Back to Ninh Thuan - the land of sheep and goats on the green grazing fields, perhaps many tourists will fell that it is too short for the wonderful experience on summer days.
The ideal time to explore the coastal road is from May to August when the sky is blue and clear, the sea is beautiful and the waves is gentle without any storms. You can rent a motorbike or a car from Nha Trang or Phan Rang for sightseeing along the road. You can hire a cruise ship when coming to Vinh Hy bay. Visitors should prepare drinks and snacks.
