TAM DAO YELLOW CAMELLIA TEA
The famous yellow camellia tea of Tam Dao is an ornamental plant with a beautiful yellow color, and it is also a valuable medicinal plant that can treat many diseases. The plant is grown and cared for through a strict process and a modern production line using freeze-drying technology, so that the flower can always retain its natural flavor and nutrients. SE PORRIDGE AND HON HUONG CANH CAKE
Se porridge and Hon cake are available in many localities, but the best is probably in Huong Canh town (Binh Xuyen district). To make this dish, they divided the rice flour into 2 separate parts. One is used to make sticky rice, and the other is used to make porridge and Hon cake. When cooking porridge, you must choose the meat so that it is both sweet and fatty, but not too fatty. Normally, when enjoying the dish, people dip the cake into the porridge or dip it in the homemade sauces.
DAM VAC'S TEP DAU FISH
Dam Vac (Vinh Yen city) is famous for its Tep Dau fish, a Dam Vac specialty. Due to living in a large natural lagoon, the Tep Dau fish of Dam Vac always have a sweet, salty, and spicy taste. Tep Dau fish can also be made into many different dishes. However, the most popular and famous is the Tep Dau stew and soup.
THINH FISH
Thinh fish is a specialty of the Lo river area. The special dish is made from freshwater fish (snakehead, crucian carp, java barb, or Indian rohu fish) marinated with ‘Thinh’ to be naturally fermented. When ready to serve, the fish meat is dark brown. People often enjoy Thinh fish with vegetables and spices, giving it an unforgettable taste.
RUA VILLAGE'S RUA TOFU
Rua village’s tofu is one of their unique local dish which represent the spirit of the village (Tuong Chinh commune, Vinh Tuong district). Rua tofu come in two varieties: white tofu and grilled tofu. The ingredients for the special dish are the fine soybeans which are round, high-quality, and undamged beans. Rua tofu is usually enjoyed with soy sauce, fish sauce or shrimp paste.
